Waiting

I watch

Each day worse

Than the last 

Frustration and tension

Mark our days

Our plans

Have been replaced

By what could have been

 I can see it

In his eyes

Not if

But when

 Dr. after Dr.

Opinion after opinion

 Concern

Replaced by fear

 Now quiet desperation

Words can’t explain

 Our love stays strong

But I am losing him

Nothing will change that
